Valintean Pennick-Feaster, M.S., CCC-SLP

SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Valintean received a Bachelor's of Science in Communication Sciences at the State University of New York College at Buffalo and a Master's of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from the State University of New York College at Buffalo in 2008. She is licensed in the State of Texas and New York. Valintean also possesses a Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech and Hearing Association. She has extensive experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist and a supervisor in private practice, home health care, and in school settings. Valintean is passionate about working with both children and adults. Her special areas of interest include early intervention, tongue thrust, articulation, accent reduction, autism, and language. When Valintean is not providing speech therapy she is very busy being a wife and mother to two amazing boys.

Dr.Mia Breaux, ClinScD., CCC-SLP

SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Mia is a passionate speech language pathologist that graduated from Xavier University of Louisiana in 2010 with a Bachelors in Speech -Language Pathology.
Mia then graduated from Southern University
of Baton Rouge in 2013 with a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology.
Mia received her Clinical Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from Rocky Mountain Univerity of Health Professionals in 2022.
Mia has experience working with adults and children in various settings such as schools, homes, and other private settings.
She also has experience working with patients with disabilities such as Down Syndrome, Autism, Aphasia, Apraxia, Swallowing disorders, Voice disorders and Fluency disorders. Mia has a certification in Melodic-Based Communication Therapy, which is geared to help increase verbal output in nonverbal children with autism.
Mia is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. She relocated to Houston, Texas soon after completion of graduate school. Mia has a husband and two young sons.

As a new grad, I’m excited to bring my enthusiasm,energy, and dedication into every session. I approach my work with a personalized,client-centered mindset,believing in the power of tailored strategies to help people find their
voice. My approach blends professionalism with a warm, empathetic attitude, as I truly believe that every person has a unique voice that deserves to be heard.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me indulging in some of my favorite activities like reading,traveling, or just cuddling up with my two puppies.
I look forward to working with my clients to unlock their potential and create meaningful change. Whether it’s helping them overcome a speech challenge or just connecting on a personal level, I’m here to help—and I promise we’ll

Cloa Mai, M.S., CCC-SLP Speech Language Pathologist

Cloa has been practicing as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) since 2017, bringing a passion for helping children and their families communicate more eﬀectively across multiple environments. She holds an undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University and a Master's degree from Baylor University.
Cloa chose the ﬁeld of speech-language pathology to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children, helping them to communicate with others, as well as eat and drink more safely and eﬃciently. Her work is driven by a deep commitment to enhancing the quality of life for her patients, fostering both personal and social growth through improved speech, language, and feeding skills.
Outside of her professional life, Cloa enjoys reading, cooking, and spending quality time with her husband and two children. She cherishes these moments of connection and balance in her busy life.

Viviana Canivel, B.A., SLPA
Assistant Speech-Language Pathologist

Viviana is an accomplished Speech and Language Assistant who graduated from the University of Houston in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She has extensive experience working with adults and children of varying special abilities. As both a therapist and the parent of two children with special needs (OR abilities), Viviana possesses a unique and profound understanding of the challenges families face. This perspective enhances her ability to empathize with clients and develop effective, individualized strategies for success. Fluent in English and Spanish, Viviana leverages her bilingual skills to deliver therapy in both languages. As a native Spanish speaker, her culturally responsive approach ensures she meets the diverse needs of the communities she serves. Her professional focus includes early intervention, articulation, special populations, and multicultural services. Viviana is deeply committed to empowering diverse communities by fostering effective communication and delivering impactful therapy. Beyond her professional endeavors, she is a proud mother of three awe-inspiring children. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, watching movies, and spending quality time with her family.

Jennifer Rabassa Office Manager Employee Relations Manager

Meet Jennifer Rabassa, our dedicated office manager who brings over 18 years of experience in medical billing, customer service, and office management to our team.
A native Houstonian, Jennifer previously worked as an office manager and administrative assistant at a therapy clinic in Louisiana where she managed multiple offices. She then joined our clinic as the office manager and biller before taking a brief hiatus to focus on her family and serving her church. We are thrilled to have her back on our team!
Jennifer is not only passionate about providing exceptional care to our patients but also deeply involved in her community. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her three daughters and husband. She has a special place in her heart for our little patients and finds joy in helping them thrive.

Emily Strahl, B.S., SLPA Assistant Speech-Language Pathologist

Emily is a passionate and dedicated SLP-A originally from Waco, Texas, who earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Tarleton State University. After graduating, Emily moved to the Houston area with her fiancé and 2 pups. Currently, Emily is working toward earning her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Texas Woman's University, furthering her commitment to making a meaningful impact on the lives of others. Emily finds this field so rewarding because she gets the opportunity to help individuals overcome communication challenges, empowering them to express themselves effectively and confidently. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, baking, and spending quality time with friends and family (and her 2 crazy dogs!).

Allen Hannguyen, COTA

Allen is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L) who is passionate about helping children build confidence and independence through meaningful, play-based therapy. He believes every child learns differently and enjoys discovering what motivates each child, so therapy feels engaging, successful, and fun. Allen values building strong relationships with children and their families, celebrating every milestone, and creating an environment where children feel supported, challenged, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Allen is committed to lifelong learning and continually explores new ways to provide individualized, evidence-based care. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys hiking, staying active, learning about different cultures and languages, and seeking out new experiences. He brings that same curiosity, creativity, patience, and enthusiasm into every therapy session, striving to help each child thrive both in therapy and in everyday life.

Michelle Mitchell, Billing Specialist

Michelle Mitchell is a medical biller with 10 years of experience in the field. She is a mother of two and has recently moved to Richmond, Texas, from Central Florida. Coming from a military family, she has also served in the Army National Guard. In her free time, Michelle enjoys spending time at the beach and gardening.

EJoyce Mulika, COTA

Joy is a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who is passionate about helping children build confidence, independence, and the skills they need for everyday life. She earned her Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas.

Joy enjoys making therapy engaging and meaningful while celebrating each child's individual progress. She believes in building strong relationships with children and their families and working collaboratively to help each child reach their goals.

Outside of work, Joy enjoys working out, traveling, and spending quality time with her family and children. As a mother, she brings patience, compassion, and encouragement to the children and families she serves.
